K-12 ARCHITECTURE EDUCATION = NEED ASSISTANCE

K-12 ARCHITECTURE EDUCATION

We need your assistance!

In collaboration with AIA K-12 Initiatives, we are seeking to expand our resources for K-12 Architecture Education.

Thus, what essential resources should we include?

To grow the profession, we should consider introducing students to architecture at a young age.  We are not suggesting that ALL these young kids need to be architects, but rather ALL should be aware of architecture.  After all, we all live within the built environment.  Who knows?  Perhaps, someone who is introduced to architecture at this young age become a client of architects or a developer.

As you see from the Resource page of the website, we list a number of resources under the Youth (K-12).  Which of these are essential?

As listed under Resources, these resources for K-12 Architecture Education could include books, websites, youth programs, handouts, lessons, etc.

So do help us out by sharing was resources we should include on our new page — to be launched later in the summer.
